Transportation Engineer-in-Training

At KCI Technologies, we're seeking a talented Transportation Engineer-in-Training to join our team. As a key member of our Transportation Practice, you'll assist in the development of construction plans for transportation projects, working under the supervision of senior project engineers or project managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development of multiple construction plans for transportation projects
  • Performing work involving conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment
  • Coordinating work of multiple engineering disciplines and performing drafting/CADD work for the project
  • Developing engineering reports, quantities, and construction cost estimates

Preferred qualifications include:

  • General knowledge and/or experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD
  • Good communication and technical writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, and NACTO standards
  • EIT certification preferred

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 0-2 year's experience
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment
