Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Residential Treatment Program at CFG Health Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the overall planning, operation, and management of the program, ensuring the highest level of quality care and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, either on-site or on-call, responding to all calls within 20 minutes.
  • Participate in planning, implementation, and coordination of residential services, including administrative issues, inter-departmental issues, strategic planning, staff education, and day-to-day clinical treatment and operations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of major systems that impact the program's operations and performance.
  • Identify and address problems in the program, interfacing with appropriate individuals to activate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including those related to licensing, accreditation, and contract administration.
  • Develop and maintain program policies and procedures, ensuring they align with regulatory standards and are up-to-date.
  • Monitor new regulatory requirements and developments, maintaining the program's compliance with all state authorities.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of program staff, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and administrative personnel.
  • Make decisions regarding hiring, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain employee performance evaluations.
  • Approve supply requisitions and capital expenditures as necessary.
  • Prepare and review capital, supply, and personnel budgets for the Executive Director's approval.
  • Monitor financial reports to stay informed about the program's financial performance.
  • Develop annual and long-range goals and plans, aligning with strategic planning objectives.
  • Maintain regular reporting with the State Contract Manager, ensuring accountability for program performance and responsibilities.
  • Stay current with relevant literature and websites related to residential care, ensuring awareness of significant developments and trends.
  • Ensure continued compliance with licensure and accreditation surveys.
  • Conduct regular meetings with program staff and attend CFG meetings and committees as requested.
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance program, monitoring the quality and appropriateness of youth care services and staff performance.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree from an accredited graduate school in social work.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience serving youth in a residential or inpatient hospital behavioral health treatment program, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • An active and valid New Jersey license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with supervisory capabilities.
