Job Summary:

AMR is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care to patients in emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action and provide advanced medical care using progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and public safety personnel.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
