Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, utilizing both hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify the root cause of issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components as required.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
  • Advise management on the potential hazards of continued equipment operation.
  • Test electrical systems and the continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure safety and compatibility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Manage material procurement and requisition needs effectively.
  • Establish workflows and sequences to keep projects on schedule.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Understanding of one-line diagrams and PLCs.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years' experience supervising construction projects.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with a successful track record.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Class A CDL is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be a safe worker with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Effective communication with employees, managers, and guests through verbal communication, hearing, and visual acuity.
