Job Overview

Exceptional Pediatric Therapy, LLC is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. As a COTA, you will work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans and provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help children improve their fine motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist to help children achieve functional independence in daily activities.
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help children improve their fine motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and detailed therapy notes.
  • Collaborate with the OT to modify treatment plans as needed to meet patient goals.
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to educate them on therapeutic exercises and activities for home practice.
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Texas.
  • Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish preferred).
  • Previous experience working with pediatric patients is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
