Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

RogueSearch is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with agreements and scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Negotiations: Enter into negotiations with suppliers to review terms and conditions, establish pricing, and formulate contracts.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and manage supplier performance within the division, including cost, quality, productivity, and service.
  • Compliance: Manage compliance to agreements, scopes, and other relevant documents.
  • Contract Management: Manage and execute contract agreements consistent with sourcing guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, DCOs, CMs, FMs, PIMs, RPMs, and Sales teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Supplier Relationships: Manage supplier relationships and assist in resolving issues and conflicts related to daily Trade Partner activities.
  • Database Management: Maintain all applicable databases used in developing cost and quantity estimates.
  • Estimate Verification: Verify estimates of costs and quantities of residential products using comparative and differential estimating techniques.
  • KPI Measurement: Responsible for Trade Partner Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement and validation.
  • Trade Partner Data Analysis: Perform analysis of Trade Partner data submissions and manage the impact of commodity fluctuations.
  • Communication: Communicate completed estimates to construction personnel, trade subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Value Engineering: Develop material and labor optimization solutions using Value Engineering tools and methodology.
  • Trade Category Cost Control: Control trade category costs by utilizing zone tools and methodologies.
  • Project Tracker Categories: Responsible for assigned Project Tracker categories and rebate capture.
  • Division-Specific Tools: Develop and implement division-specific tools and methodologies for estimating and controlling trade category costs as required.
  • Zone Estimating: Assist zone estimating in methodology development and optimization.
  • Trade Partner Compliance: Develop scopes and standard operating procedures that assure Trade Partner compliance with Pulte construction standards, local, state, and national building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Customer Option Estimates: Complete necessary customer option estimates.
  • Business Processes: Follow Pulte business processes for supplier management.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Contribute as a subject matter expert for the Strategic Sourcing Director (if assigned).

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • ISCM Accreditation: ISCM accreditation preferred.
  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum 3 years of related functional experience.
  • Time in Position: Minimum 6 months to 1 year as a procurement professional.
  • Business Acumen: Business acumen including understanding the impact of purchasing costs on income statements, balance sheets, and cost structures.
  • Purchasing and Supply Chain Experience: Purchasing and supply chain experience.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate in a cost-transparent environment.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Ability to develop and improve vendor partnerships.
  • Construction Knowledge: Construction knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Category Expertise: Category expertise and ability to positively influence and lead others outside of Division and Procurement.
