Job Title: Electrical Substation Design Engineer Intern

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in electrical substation design. As an intern on our team, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to help design and develop electrical substations.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on location and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with staff engineers to design electrical substations, including physical layouts, one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  2. Assist in producing detailed engineering design packages in accordance with AES Ohio and relevant industry standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.).
  3. Complete additional assignments as determined by your supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Sophomore or higher academic standing preferred.
  • Strong academic background, exceptional attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
