Role
The Senior Manager oversees a team of professionals responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of investment reconciliation and self-directed brokerage transactions. This role ensures that all transactions are properly identified, distributed, and resolved in a timely manner. In addition, this role oversees broad, company-wide initiatives with operational and technology business partners, performs analysis associated with business trends, resolves audit issues, and is responsible for key controls.
The Expertise and Skills We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Prior people management experience preferred.
- Prior experience of driving process automation and innovation.
- Ability to foster a highly interactive and engaged work environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to provide feedback to associates during individual coaching sessions to improve their quality, productivity, and skillset.
- Commitment to drive quality and process improvements in a fast-paced and high-risk business environment.
- Expertise and willingness in developing associates to full potential and driving career growth.
- Accountable for key talent management, including hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, and other career development activities for the team.
