Position Overview:

CAVO Broadband Communications is seeking skilled Cable Installation Specialists to join our dedicated team focused on enhancing connectivity across the nation.

As a comprehensive telecommunications provider, we excel in constructing, maintaining, and managing extensive upgrades, rebuilds, and new installations. Our services encompass a variety of tasks, including residential and multi-dwelling unit cable television, high-speed data, and telephony installations, all performed safely, courteously, and efficiently to meet precise client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and install cable television, internet, telephone, and alarm systems in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Set up and configure residential networking devices such as ONTs, routers, and switches.
  • Conduct testing on both company-issued and customer devices, analyzing and documenting results within defined parameters.
  • Engage with customers to identify and resolve perceived issues effectively.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling between home, office, warehouse, and job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked vehicle, ensuring readiness for all tasks.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and provide updates on work order statuses.
Customer Service Expectations:

  • Professionally greet and interact with customers, addressing escalations and repeated concerns with courtesy.
  • Review requested services with customers to ensure understanding and agreement.
  • Educate customers on product and service usage.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience working in confined spaces such as attics or crawl spaces.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Capable of lifting, climbing, and carrying ladders weighing up to 80 lbs.
