Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interior Installation Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As an Interior Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for safely performing removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Fabrication: Safely perform removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality standards.
- Material Tracking: Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand and sign-off work.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Follow standard operating procedures for tools and equipment use.
- Quality Assurance: Prepare and install aircraft interior items according to quality standards.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Comply with safety and housekeeping policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Implement process improvements to reduce cost and cycle time.
- Pattern Making: Make and use simple patterns employing standardized procedures.
- Flight Testing: May include flight tests on aircraft as required.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2 years of application installation, fabrication, or related experience preferred.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation, able to climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and must be computer literate with excellent communication skills.
