Core Responsibilities:

  • Examine loan applications for completeness and accuracy, liaising with loan officers and applicants to collect necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and arrange loan documentation, such as credit agreements, promissory notes, and guarantees, ensuring compliance with Servbank's policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain organized and current loan files, ensuring all required documentation is included and properly labeled.
  • Analyze corporate documents to confirm the authority of signers and ensure all necessary signatures are obtained from authorized personnel.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers, underwriters, title, escrow, and insurance agents, as well as other team members, to ensure the efficient processing of loan applications. Provide regular updates and address any inquiries or issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance of all loan applications and processing activities with Servbank's policies, federal and state regulations, and other pertinent guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough quality control reviews of all loan documentation to identify and rectify errors or omissions prior to submission for approval.
  • Maintain effective communication with applicants, providing them with updates and addressing any questions or concerns throughout the loan processing cycle.
  • Coordinate loan closings by preparing closing documents, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely fund disbursement.
  • Possess expertise in processing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial loan processing.
  • Familiarity with commercial loan products and documentation, including SBA's Etran system, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in loan documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple loan files simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and applicants.
  • Proficient in loan processing software, including Fiserve, Laserpro, Docusign, and other relevant applications.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
