We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as our Executive Director of Programs and Operations. This is a full-time, salaried position that will play a critical role in leading the implementation of our community-wide wellness program across the state of Arizona.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to ensure the effective delivery of all programs in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain high standards of program quality, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team and other staff involved.
- Foster a collaborative working environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and high performance.
- Collaborate with program managers and other departments to align fundraising and development efforts with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Cultivation and Management
- Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Engage with donors, corporate partners, government officials, and community leaders to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
- Fundraising and Development
- Lead efforts to secure additional funding through grants, donations, sponsorships, and other revenue-generating activities.
- Collaborate with the CEO and National VP of Development to identify funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals.
- Regional Expansion and Sustainability
- Work with the executive team to develop and implement a strategic plan for state expansion.
- Secure necessary resources to support the build-out of state operations.
- Ensure sustainable funding streams are in place to support ongoing operations and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, Public Health or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in nonprofit development, program management, fundraising, stakeholder relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record of securing significant funding and building strong relationships with donors and key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term plans.
- Passion for the mission and values of HealthCorps.
