Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist

Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a full-time or part-time onsite Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist for a nonprofit 501 C3 organization in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

About the Organization

This organization takes a holistic approach to mental health care for youth and adults, focusing on play, connection, and growth. They are expanding to include private insurance and private pay contracts and seek a Licensed or Associate Therapist to work with the behavioral health team and collaborate with their growing team of providers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic and mental health assessments to patients.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of therapeutic programming.
  • Provide ongoing individual, family, and/or group therapy.
  • Attend team meetings and assist in establishing goals for service plans.
  • Document team meetings and progress on treatment goals.
  • Conduct tours with new clients and their families.
  • Communicate with the facilitator and parents regarding positive or negative behaviors/concerns.
  • Provide guidance and supervision on mandated reporting.
  • Upload services plans, crisis plans, and initial assessments, and keep all documents updated.
  • Create behavioral interventions to address client behaviors.
  • Coordinate care with clients' treatment teams.
  • Review new referrals for appropriateness and maintain a waiting list.
  • Schedule staff and clients and coordinate with other locations on scheduling.
  • Mentor, coordinate, track, supervise, and maintain documentation for interns.
Requirements
  • Must hold full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Advance Practice Social Work (APSW) in WI.
  • At least 2 years of therapy experience as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, with a strong preference for LCSW.
  • Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling.
  • Group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, and crisis intervention.
  • Experience with youth and adults in a residential setting preferred.
  • DBT, EMDR, and trauma experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must pass a caregiver background check.
  • Ability to supervise MSWs for hours needed for licensure.
