Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Superfund site assessment program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs and guidance documents for the EPA site assessment program
  • Analyze environmental data and information from various sources to support site assessments
  • Prepare written summaries and reports based on existing reports and conference calls
  • Assist with tracking and reporting site-specific information
  • Organize and coordinate webinars, training sessions, and conference calls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., environmental science, chemistry, geology) or environmental policy/law
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the environmental field
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, or working with environmental information and/or data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EPA laws and regulations (e.g., CERCLA)
  • Experience analyzing environmental data and preparing written summaries
  • Experience presenting to various audiences
