About the Role:

The Sr. Maintenance Planner will be responsible for ensuring efficient planning and coordination of maintenance work. This includes partnering with Operations Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement daily and annual outage maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with hourly and salaried maintenance personnel to ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Direct contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Maintain planned work order backlog to ensure scope of work is greater than two weeks out and within regular work hours.
  • Create, maintain, and modify equipment BOMs and area PMs.
  • Ensure Contracted PMs and Mill PMs are scheduled and recorded.
  • Present all PMs to the MOPs team for scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing operations, maintenance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reliability concepts and applications.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Experience with utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to estimate man-hours and costs for maintenance work.
