Job Title: Staff RN III-CS

Job Summary:

The Staff RN III-CS is a key member of our nursing team, responsible for managing the care of assigned patients in accordance with our hospital's philosophy and policies. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and competent patient care, adhering to current guidelines and best practices.
  • Independently implement the nursing process for patients and families, integrating evidence-based practice resources into clinical care.
  • Self-sufficient and competent in the operation of unit-based patient care technology, efficiently utilizing our computerized information systems.
  • Delegates care where appropriate, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
  • Serves as a preceptor for new employees and students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Conducts self-assessment of performance, identifying areas for growth and development.
  • Participates in quality improvement studies and activities, contributing to patient safety and quality measures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other required certifications and education may vary by clinical unit.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty
