Staff Psychiatrist, Correctional Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Psychiatrist to join our team at the Correctional Facility. As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric services to inmates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that inmates receive comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric services to inmates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for inmates
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of treatment plans
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care
- Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or related field
- Current licensure to practice medicine in California
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Experience working in a correctional setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
This position requires working in a correctional facility, which can be a challenging and dynamic environment. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
