Staff Psychiatrist, Correctional Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Psychiatrist to join our team at the Correctional Facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide psychiatric services to inmates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the mental health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric services to inmates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the mental health needs of inmates.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Must be a licensed psychiatrist in the state of California.
- Must have experience working in a correctional setting or a similar environment.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
