Position Summary:
We are looking for a Supply Supervisor to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. This role is pivotal in overseeing the procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of packaging materials. The Supply Supervisor will also handle administrative tasks related to record-keeping and ensure compliance with expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
The Supply Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing timesheets and employee documentation.
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure timely availability of packaging materials.
  • Coordinating with various vendors regarding packaging supplies.
  • Working with sales personnel to address special order requests.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary, with a focus on safety.

Supervisory Duties:
This position involves direct supervision of up to 30 employees. Responsibilities include:

  • Training and developing team members.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing daily operations.
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
  • Addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting business documents and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Mathematical and Reasoning Skills:
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to:

  • Perform calculations related to discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • Analyze data to identify problems and develop solutions.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with payroll systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing applications is essential.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to humidity and mechanical equipment.

Work Environment:
The work environment may include exposure to:

  • Wet and humid conditions.
  • Moving mechanical parts.
  • Extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions.
