Position Overview:
Location: Remote

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analytical skills, with the capability to efficiently process and interpret large datasets. They should be adept at synthesizing fragmented data and contractual language in a financially prudent manner. A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry metrics, including Gross Sales, Chargebacks, and rebates, is essential for accurate pricing calculations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Chargeback and Rebate processes, including conducting root cause analyses to resolve discrepancies.
  • Educate the Global Shared Services team on procedures to address rebate issues.
  • Ensure timely receipt and processing of inbound chargeback transmissions from Wholesale/Distributor clients.
  • Oversee the validation and reconciliation of chargebacks, ensuring compliance with pricing agreements and eligibility criteria.
  • Generate weekly discrepancy reports for wholesalers and resolve disputed chargebacks by identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Review and reconcile chargeback discrepancies arising from customer deductions, initiating collection efforts as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate processing of chargeback credit and debit memos within established timelines.
  • Develop and maintain an effective system for managing resubmissions.
  • Provide comprehensive reconciliation reports to wholesalers detailing all adjustments.
  • Complete month-end closing activities in accordance with departmental and company timelines.
  • Deliver outbound chargeback reconciliation reports to wholesalers promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional financial analysis capabilities with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to integrate disparate data elements and contractual terms in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and metrics.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and familiarity with iContracts and Oracle is advantageous.
