The Kitchen Cabinet Distributors team is seeking an experienced Assembly Operations Coordinator to support the assembly function by preparing products for assembly and handling receipt, staging, and outward shipping to external customers.

Job Summary

This role will involve selecting correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, practices, or instructions and seeking advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisors. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in distribution and a strong understanding of machines and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, practices, or instructions.
  • Unboxes and preps packaged cabinets for assembly.
  • Completes tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
  • Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas.
  • Installs protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
  • Verifies item and order quality and count.
  • Maintains condition of work area and follows company safety policies and procedures.
  • May operate forklift or pallet jack to deliver materials to designated locations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HS Diploma or GED.
  • 0-3 years of experience in distribution.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. individually and up to 160 lbs. with a team lift.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Work Environment:

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required.
  • Comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes.
