Job Title: Agricultural Program Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Program Coordinator to join our team at North Carolina State University. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our programs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and development of our GRAD-AID for Ag Program. This includes program management and coordination, student recruitment and support, collaboration and outreach, and reporting and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management & Coordination (30%): Organize scholarly events, workshops, and training sessions for students and faculty involved in the program.
  • Student Recruitment & Support (30%): Lead internal and external recruitment efforts, develop and implement student support systems, and assemble trainee dossiers.
  • Collaboration & Outreach (30%): Collaborate with departments across NCSU and foster partnerships with external organizations and industry stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Evaluation (10%): Work closely with the project's external evaluator to collect data and assess student needs.

Requirements:

  • B.S./B.A. degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience.
  • Experience in program development, particularly in higher education or STEM fields.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with any area of science, agriculture, data science, or related fields.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn website design and maintenance.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
