  • Assists with data entry, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school degree or equivalent.
    • Preferred: Completion of a Medical Terminology course or a Health Unit Coordinator Program, Medical Office Specialist, or Medical Secretary program.
  • Experience
    • Minimum Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, keyboard, computer, and telephone proficiency.
    • Preferred: Six months of previous experience in a healthcare facility, including direct patient contact or customer service experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses
    • None required.
