We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team at Michael Foods. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and operating our water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with Nebraska's regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain water treatment equipment under the supervision of the operator in charge.
  • Comply with state of Nebraska's rules and regulations governing a grade 3 water treatment facility.
  • Perform daily water plant operations, record maintenance activities, and ensure the cleanliness of equipment.
  • Conduct various construction tasks, including block work, concrete work, tile, carpentry, painting, and pipe insulation.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including rebuilding and repairing walls, floors, ceilings, doors, etc.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
  • Minimum a Nebr. grade 4 water certification with the ability to obtain a grade 3.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Experience with facility maintenance and water treatment operations.
