Job Summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, day shift basis. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient throughput and care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Support patient-centered care by engaging in service recovery and addressing patient concerns.
  • Contribute to staff development by recommending training and development opportunities.
  • Manage staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
  • Assist with inventory control and supply management.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN program with a completion goal within 5 years.
