The Specialty Gas Account Executive plays a pivotal role in enhancing the market presence of Specialty Gas Products. This position involves engaging with both current and potential clients to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular travel within the designated region to foster client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with local account managers to strategize and implement effective sales initiatives.
- Take charge of product management and devise market expansion strategies to meet sales targets.
- Enhance revenue and profit margins by effectively presenting the company’s specialty gas offerings to clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Prepare comprehensive sales proposals and contracts, including pricing and delivery timelines based on product availability.
- Deliver training and support on specialty gas products to both customers and internal sales teams.
- Conduct market research to monitor competitive activities and gather insights on pricing and product offerings.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues by investigating concerns and proposing actionable solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and outcomes, providing regular updates to management.
- Suggest improvements in processes and services based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Manage existing client accounts and oversee renewal processes.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent sales experience.
- A minimum of four years of successful business-to-business sales experience, with a focus on solution selling.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with SAP systems.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
