Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations with precision and accuracy
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
  • Train and assess students in patient radiographic examinations, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Monitor students and patients during examinations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with radiology administrative tasks, including report dissemination and scheduling
  • Screen phone calls, process mail, and perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in radiology or a related field
  • At least one year of work-related experience in radiologic technology
  • Licensure by the Iowa Department of Health
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good mathematical abilities and technical skills, with proficiency in computer software and equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy weights without assistance
