Job Summary:

The Clinic Radiologic Technologist is responsible for ensuring the quality of radiographic examinations, patient safety, and education of chiropractic students in radiographic positioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic examinations with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to students on radiographic procedures and patient management in the radiology department.
  • Evaluate student performance of x-ray positioning and patient interaction during radiographic exams, providing constructive feedback.
  • Discuss quality of imaging and suggest improvements with students during radiographic exams.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local safety and health regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Director of Clinic Radiology on equipment processes and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with college policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree with ARRT certification.
  • At least one year of work-related experience.
  • Licensed by the state agency appropriate to the campus where employed.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The Clinic Radiologic Technologist will perform sedentary to light work in a well-ventilated, lighted, and temperature-controlled office setting. Frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift light objects (up to 10 pounds), and perform other similar actions during the workday.
