Key Responsibilities

As a Product Specialist Vice President at BofA Securities, Inc., you will be responsible for understanding client requirements and structuring Asset Backed Securities transactions accordingly. This will involve interacting with rating agencies, accountants, lawyers, syndicate, and trading desks during the execution of the transaction.

You will review various offering documents and run the process of getting the same reviewed by accountants and lawyers. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing end-to-end structuring of the transaction and making recommendations on how to improve structural efficiencies of the trade.

You will use various software, both in-house and external, to create the structure that will be distributed to investors to assist them with their investment decisions. You will also provide a detailed comparative analysis of the recommendations for inclusion into client, investor, and rating agency presentations.

Furthermore, you will interact with issuer and investor clients to explain structural nuances and results. You will price the transaction on behalf of our issuer clients once investors have confirmed their interest.

You will build quantitative models to analyze default and prepayment forecasts and use performance modeling to run various rating agency stressed assumptions to help create optimal asset-backed structures.

You will also price asset-backed securities transactions and perform pre-deal processes with lawyers, accountants, and rating agencies to develop a thorough understanding of various tax, legal, and cost of capital considerations.

Collaboration with other functional groups, including syndicate and banking, will be essential during the execution of the transaction.

You will utilize your deep understanding of capital markets to help decide the best time to take deals to market and modify deal structures to suit the needs of various institutional investors.

Finally, you will use Intex and Excel to create Asset Backed Securitization structures and models to create securitization structures and run numerous rating agency stress tests.

Requirements

A Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Math, or a related field is required. Additionally, 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation is necessary.

Specifically, you must have experience in building quantitative models to analyze default and prepayment forecasts and using performance modeling to run various rating agency stressed assumptions to help create optimal asset-backed structures.

You must also have experience in pricing asset-backed securities transactions and performing pre-deal processes with lawyers, accountants, and rating agencies to develop a thorough understanding of various tax, legal, and cost of capital considerations.

Furthermore, you must have experience in collaborating with other functional groups, including syndicate and banking, during the execution of the transaction.

You must also have experience in utilizing Intex and Excel to create Asset Backed Securitization structures and models to create securitization structures and run numerous rating agency stress tests.

Up to 5% domestic and international travel may be required for this role.
