Bridge Design Engineer

Moffatt & Nichol Engine is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a leading bridge and transportation engineering design firm, we are committed to delivering innovative and practical solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of designers, engineers, and professionals to successfully deliver project plans, specifications, reports, and other design-related materials.
- Identify marketing opportunities, engage with perspective clients, and assist with the preparation of proposal packages.
- Maintain and establish working relationships with regulatory agencies, local government agencies, cities, Caltrans, as well as private clients.
- Utilize structural analysis software for design, such as CSiBridge, CTBridge, vBridge, VBent, CTAbut, SAP2000, etc.
- Compile data and perform calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design studies.
- Conduct inspections and assist in supervision of site investigations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required and Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer in the State of California required.
- At least 8 years of experience in bridge and other structural components of transportation design.
- Knowledge of CSiBridge, CTBridge, vBridge, VBent, and/or CTAbut preferred.
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.

The majority of work is office-based. Some site visits may be required, which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
