We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant III Float Pool to join our team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced Medical Assistant duties, including coordination of patient care and navigation.
  • Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations.
  • Independently perform front desk duties, including scheduling patients and collecting payor information.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification within 6 months.
Physical Demands

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you will be required to push, pull, and carry objects of similar weight. Climbing, balancing, and repetitive motions are also common in this role.

Travel Requirements

This position requires occasional travel, approximately 10% of the time.
