Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect products and equipment for defects to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing sanitation duties
  • Operate various equipment to assist in the production process
  • Perform all duties required to ensure U.S.D.A. inspection and quality guidelines are met
  • Reassemble necessary processing equipment after sanitation
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor to fill the needs of the plant
Requirements
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as assigned by Supervisors or Management
  • Ability to work in a safe manner, as well as participate in the safety process of the company
  • Ability to safely handle chemical solutions, eggs and egg products
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to visually interpret instructions, operate machines and inspect parts
  • Ability to work on foot for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend and stoop throughout working shift
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to enter confined spaces (port-holes) in tanks to perform cleaning and inspection tasks (if applicable)
Working Conditions

The position requires working in various temperatures (varies from cool to moderate/hot) including occasional high humidity. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required during sanitation and production areas.

All shifts are available, including 1st Shift: 5:50 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., and 3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
