Musco Sports Lighting is seeking a talented Production Artist/Technical Illustrator Intern to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will assist in producing technical documents, creating technical illustrations, and supporting literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop images and assist with the design and layout of technical documents and photo pages.
- Work closely with graphic designers to ensure consistency of Musco's identity through advertisements, direct mail, presentations, brochures, and websites.
- Coordinate design elements from concept to final production, communicating and building relationships with vendors to produce materials in an accurate and timely manner.
- Evaluate sales tools to ensure a consistent message and standard of quality.
- Stay up-to-date on graphic trends and technologies through trade publications and educational training opportunities.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies to evaluate their effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, remaining flexible and enjoying a constantly changing team environment.
- Self-directed, with the ability to maintain proficiency in software applications such as Sway, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
- Strong design and illustration ability, with the ability to develop expertise in developing and producing sales tools, including knowledge of pre-press and printing processes.
- Aptitude to simplify technical issues into clear, concise, and accurate visual illustrations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle and complete multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to make decisions that support Musco's mission and achieve marketing objectives.
- Detail-oriented and a proven problem-solver.
