About the JobWe are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing pre-visit planning and managing the provider's schedule
- Obtaining and recording medical history and vital signs
- Rooming patients and assisting healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
- Performing specimen collection and point of care testing
- Preparing and administering medications under direction of healthcare providers
- Ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program
- Current CPR certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
