**Job Summary:**

Sanford Rose Associates - JFSPartners is seeking a skilled Clinical Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Accounting & Finance division, you will be responsible for managing the billing process for a local non-profit organization. Your expertise in clinical billing, revenue cycle management, and contract and insurance billing will be essential in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our client's financial systems.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the billing process
* Collaborate with other billing staff to ensure a broad understanding of contract and insurance billing
* Process denials, rebilling charges, and follow up on claims and receivables
* Manage client accounts, including electronically and paper claiming
* Maintain accurate billing records and reconcile payments
* Process approved refunds on credit balances and ensure copays/deductibles are processed accordingly to the EOB

**Requirements:**

* 2+ years of experience in clinical billing, preferably in a third-party billing setting
* Associate of Arts degree in Business or related field, with experience in general clerical, secretarial, and receptionist work
* Strong understanding of and ability to use software and systems, including electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs/Sheets
