Cone Health is seeking an exceptional Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at LeBauer Pulmonary & Critical Care in Greensboro, NC.
Job Responsibilities- Perform physical assessments of patients, review medical history, and interpret diagnostic tests/results to provide effective treatment.
- Conduct preventive health screenings based on patient age, history, and unique needs to provide proactive healthcare.
- Educate patients and their families about high-acuity care medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate patient records to ensure comprehensive patient history.
- Perform high-acuity care medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and clinical roles.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient care by assessing, problem-solving, and evaluating clinical and system issues.
- Appropriate degree required from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
- 1 year of clinical experience specific to practice as a NP or PA preferred, or open to new graduates with prior critical care background.
- Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC, BLS (CPR) certification, and DEA License.
This is an exempt position with a rotating schedule, including days and nights, with no call requirements.
