Eagle Physicians in Greensboro, NC is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology team.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and service in a cost-effective, patient-friendly, and timely manner, including appropriate and timely record keeping.

Responsibilities will include exercising medical judgment, establishing and maintaining good rapport and professional relationships with patients, physicians, colleagues, and other employees, and communicating effectively with patients and their family members, physicians, colleagues, and other employees.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing and identifying problems, recommending solutions, preparing and maintaining records, and participating in professional development activities and maintaining professional affiliations and licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides high-quality patient care and service in a cost-effective, patient-friendly, and timely manner, including appropriate and timely record keeping.

Performance Requirements:

  • Knowledge of professional Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of the profession to provide ongoing patient care.
  • Skill in prioritizing and identifying problems and recommending solutions.
  • Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.

Education:

  • Graduate of a nationally recognized Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.

Experience:

  • Three years of experience preferred.

Certificate/License:

  • Certification preferred; NC licensed - required.
