Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

BrightStar Care of Richmond is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting, as directed by the client's care plan.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document observed changes in the client's condition and report to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a CNA license program.
  • Minimum of one year of CNA experience.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Licensed driver with an insured automobile.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with varied assistance depending on the client's mobility.
