As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join & lead our growing team at our manufacturing site in Northern Georgia. Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical projects, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting professional growth and skill development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and collaboration.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with product management and other stakeholders to prioritize features and requirements.

Technical Guidance:

  • Provide technical direction and support for complex engineering challenges.
  • Review and approve design specifications, code, and technical documentation.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices in engineering workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Performance Management:

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for the engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in an engineering management role or similar capacity.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement, process and operation design / improvement, cost quotes and analysis, cost reduction and justification; established measurables and labor standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
