Job Overview

Position: Warehouse Picker/Packer

Project Duration: Monthly 10-Day Assignment

Shift Hours:

  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM – Pay Rate: $15.00
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM – Pay Rate: $16.50

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (with potential Saturday shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute various tasks focused on retrieving inventory for orders and preparing shipments.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Insert hand-collated kits into envelopes or folders.
  • Label containers, tags, or products using appropriate marking tools.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.
  • Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure compliance with packing specifications.
  • Document product, packaging, and order details on designated forms and records.
  • Remove completed or defective items, placing them on conveyors or in designated areas.
  • Load materials and products into processing equipment.

Machine Operator Assistant Duties:

  • Assist in catching envelopes.
  • Support order completion.
  • Place envelopes into boxes.
  • Provide additional assistance as required during operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate as part of a team in a shipping environment.
  • Capability to lift or move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing workload demands.
