Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at GE Aerospace. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to perform various operations such as drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, and spot facing.
  • Use hand tools and measuring devices to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Interpret blueprints and process sheets to understand production requirements.
  • Work with close tolerances and fine finishes to meet quality standards.
  • Perform tool offset and load parts as required.
  • Follow safety procedures and utilize proper PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • High school education or GED equivalency.
  • 1 year of machine shop operations experience.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.
  • Prior working knowledge of machine shop operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of machine shop experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education and/or training in machine shop operations.
  • Experience in a self-directed team environment.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge.
