Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our product development efforts. In this role, you will take on advanced tasks for each product, which may include concept development, identification of design options, performing design trade-offs, and down-selecting to an optimum design decision. You will also work closely with other technicians and engineers to obtain desired objectives. This position will also take part in our installations (this includes manual labor & operating heavy machinery).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative solutions for product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Conduct design trade-offs and down-select to optimum design decisions
- Participate in installations, including manual labor and operating heavy machinery
- Contribute to the development of custom equipment designs
- 4+ years of technical experience
- Good understanding of small engines and/or electrical motors
- Ability to, or has interest in learning programming
- Ability to learn TRAXyL technologies and train others on installation practices
