Job Summary

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Holmdel, New Jersey. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their computing needs are met with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Configure and repair desktop and notebook computer equipment, as well as connected peripherals.
  • Install and troubleshoot IP phone handsets, including network drops and advanced tools.
  • Offer excellent customer service to a large end-user base, including VIPs, via in-person, phone, email, and video conferences.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by advising on preventive maintenance and configurations that impact product performance.
  • Manage client escalations and provide continuous follow-ups until resolution.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in desktop support, including hands-on experience with workstation hardware, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and MS applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with workgroup and domain environments, as well as imaging and software push using Ivanti LANDesk.
  • Active Directory - Computer management and Windows 10 / ChromeOS / Cloud Ready Deployments.
