Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at The Connors Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support servers, desktops, laptops, telecommunications, backups, and security.
  • Provide application and help-desk support, addressing software-related issues, and coordinating problem resolution.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot network issues, maintain security, conduct backups, and operate surveillance systems.
  • Collaborate with business applications teams for user training, revising reporting requirements, and supporting data warehouse/dashboard initiatives.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans, maintain security measures, and investigate breaches.
  • Research and recommend improvements for new technologies and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in information systems and a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in Windows OS administration, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and a strong skill set in MacOS.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
