Salary Information$27-$30 an hour / DOE

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
  • Prepare and audit employee records to ensure accurate payment of wages for 1,500+ hourly and salaried employees in multiple states on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Update and maintain employee records within software for taxes, earnings, and deductions.
  • Print and distribute payroll checks and direct deposit advices.
  • Assist with assurance of compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Research and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding employee records.
  • Analyze and test system modifications related to payroll processes.
  • Reconcile payroll deductions and bank accounts to the corresponding general ledger accounts and create necessary journal entries.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and provide necessary documentation to internal and external auditors.


Additional duties include analyzing data, collaborating with teams, and maintaining records, all while adhering to established guidelines and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 3+ years of experience in payroll administration preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or ADP.
