About the Role

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) to join our team near Conroe, Texas. This full-time position focuses on supporting an elementary school caseload.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and report writing, to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' educational and psychological needs.
  • IEP Planning and Intervention: Develop and interpret evaluation reports to guide individualized education program (IEP) planning and interventions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other school staff to create and implement strategies that address students' academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Intervention Development: Support the development of interventions, accommodations, and modifications to enhance student success.
  • IEP Meetings and Documentation: Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in psychological evaluation and intervention. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all evaluations, services provided, and communications with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential in the state of Texas.
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and guidelines, including IDEA and Section 504.
  • Proficient in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of psychological assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and families.
