Position: Maintenance Technician II
Role Summary: The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of the company's facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations for both staff and clients. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Repair and finish drywall to ensure a polished look.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with washer/dryer control panels, performing replacements as needed.
- Fix leaks in plumbing fixtures, unclog drains, and replace hoses on washers and similar equipment.
- Evaluate and address problems related to heating/cooling systems, electrical components, and plumbing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common electrical issues to facilitate quick resolutions.
- Identify necessary repairs or updates to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts to ensure timely repairs.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs using required software for comprehensive record-keeping.
- Utilize both hand and power tools competently for various tasks.
- Respond promptly to the evolving needs of the organization to minimize disruptions.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC/R.
- Proficiency in the technical specialties required for this role: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and willingness to travel.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
