We are seeking a Cybersecurity Partner Liaison Specialist to join our operational engagement team focused on a federal cybersecurity initiative aimed at securing our nation's critical infrastructure. This role will emphasize collaboration with international stakeholders.

This position offers a hybrid work model, with in-person responsibilities at the client site. Candidates must reside within the National Capital Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee communication channels for partner interactions, address inquiries from cybersecurity partners, coordinate the dissemination of cybersecurity products (alerts, advisories, etc.) among designated partners prior to public release, and draft notifications regarding vulnerabilities or threats.
  • Utilize knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, emerging risks, and geopolitical developments.
  • Facilitate the exchange of threat and vulnerability intelligence with partners.
  • Assess the validity and implications of threat information, provide analytical insights, and collaborate on necessary partner notifications and potential product creation.
  • Compose and refine notifications and other communications to enhance operational collaboration and information sharing.
  • Monitor both open-source and internal reports on threats and vulnerabilities that may affect international partners.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required (as mandated by federal regulations).
  • Active government security clearance is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred (cybersecurity, information systems, international relations, etc.).
  • Experience in international relations or with global partners is highly desirable.
  • Interest and capability to apply knowledge of cybersecurity or IT principles, policies, and practices. Relevant industry certifications are advantageous (CompTIA Sec+, CEH, etc.).
  • Strong customer service orientation with exceptional leadership, project management, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and proficiency in quality-controlling internal and external communications and deliverables.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Confluence/Jira is a plus.

The compensation for this role is determined by various factors, including relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified position, as well as geographic location and educational background.

The salary range for this position is:

$87,000 - $148,017.00
