Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Weekend Package Behavioral Health role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, utilizing a team approach to delegate and coordinate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Practice safe patient handling techniques and maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use.
  • Continues to evaluate assigned patients and provides ongoing treatment, anticipating and identifying educational and emotional needs of patients and families.
  • Guides and directs healthcare personnel in caring for patients and initiates emergency support measures as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use, and utilizes safeguards to maximize patient safety.
Requirements
  • Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire.
