About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Web Developer to join our agile team. As a key member, you will develop, code, and maintain custom web applications, designing and enhancing SQL queries, reports, procedures, functions, and back-end components.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to implement automated business processes, ensuring our applications meet client needs. Your contribution will be critical in planning and developing web application architecture, working with internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers opportunities for growth and professional development, with guidance provided to less experienced team members. You will play a vital part in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge web applications used daily by U.S. Military service members.

Our team leverages MVC development strategies and the Microsoft stack, so your experience with .NET / C#, Javascript, and SQL (or related technologies) is essential for success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop all aspects of front-end, back-end, and database development.
  • Create high-quality, testable, efficient code using software development best practices.
  • Built integrated tools to expand projects, products, and SOLID capabilities.
  • Evaluate ongoing administrative and maintenance needs for new web-based products and features.
  • Participate in designing, architecting, planning, and overseeing web-based projects.
  • Utilize Microsoft Stack and other technologies (C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, SQL).
  • Access data from various back-end services and databases via API.
  • Research potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts and improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, especially AI integration and tools like Azure AI, Python, and Tensor.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct quality assurance and user testing activities.
  • Integrate AI workflow automation solutions and tools to enhance development practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, analysts, clients, and management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • At least three years' experience in a web developer or similar role.
  • Proven experience with MVC web applications and programming languages like C#, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET, and APIs.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including implementation in web development projects or data analytics via Azure OpenAI, Python, Tensor, GitHub Copilot, GPT 3.5, or Llama.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework stored procedures and understanding of Transact-SQL syntax.
  • Deep understanding of relational data and its conversion to vector DB or Manga.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions and tools to optimize development practices and enhance user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services, DevOps, GitHub, etc.
  • Experience developing in the government contracting space.
  • Experience with developing and upholding best practice naming, documentation, and governance conventions.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile software development environment.
